History

Our History

My family and I (Jacqueline L. Whitaker, Shalivia R. Whitaker, and Sha’Lun N. Nicholson) have lived in the Shreveport-Bossier all our lives. It took someone asking for help for us to realize we didn’t know as much about the cities we love as well as we thought. We decided to do something about it. 

We created The Shreveport-Bossier Resource Center to make people aware of the various programs in the area and link them with available services. We provide information about local businesses and organizations free of charge.
